作者定義一個函數f(x)=x-sinx

其中的x是前面提到的θ/2（半弧長）。
其中的sinx是前面提到的sin(θ/2)（對邊）。

圖中x愈大時，x與sinx差愈大。
代表θ/2愈大時，半弧長θ/2-對邊sin(θ/2)的差就愈大。

最後一句
即Rsin(θ/2)=R'sin(θ'/2)且θ'＞θ，則R'×θ'＞R×θ
意思是
即控制θ/2與θ'/2對邊等長，且θ'＞θ時，
則可得「θ'半弧長＞θ半弧長＞對邊」
則可得「θ'弧長＞θ弧長」
