由《BBC》舉辦的跳舞比賽《Strictly Come Dancing》，周六(16日)晚在國標舞聖地黑池地標「Blackpool Tower」舉行。當晚的直播節目，眾家明星和舞蹈員忙於在宴會廳表演，正當節目進入尾聲之際，有竊賊潛入其中一間女更衣室，偷走多部iPhone、 iPad和珠寶等貴重財物，大部份的手機中都有個人資料和相片，警察事後接報到場協助點算損失，以及幫受害人錄口供，目前仍不清楚竊賊的數目，以及他們如何進入大樓，案件仍有待調查。
