當衛冕軍熱火、碰上東區新強權籃網，好看的不是場上熱身賽，更激烈的是口水大戰！參戰主角有LeBron James、Kevin Garnett、Paul Pierce，配角則是Ray Allen。

故事得從2012年夏天說起，原本為塞爾提克隊效力的Allen，跳槽衛冕軍熱火，引來KG、Pierce撻伐。Garnett刪掉Allen的電話號碼，Pierce則說，絕不原諒「雷射槍」。

一年後、這個夏天，KG和Pierce也離開綠衫軍，輪到LBJ跳出來酸。

「當年Allen離開波士頓的時候，簡直像被追殺，」LBJ說，「但現在，那兩個傢伙也要離開波士頓了啊！他們要走就走，我沒意見，但當年他們那樣糟蹋Allen，現在也要離開那支隊伍了。」

這說法傳到Pierce耳裡，令他有點不敢置信。「是我要離開波士頓的喔？」Pierce說。這位球星曾發表「生涯綠衫軍」宣言，希望能在塞爾提克隊退休，但還是跟Garnett一起被交易到籃網隊，和一年前Allen跳槽不同。

KG聞訊，反應也有點激動：「告訴LeBron，管好熱火隊就好。塞爾提克干他啥事？」
