肯亞查獲來自烏干達一批象牙，正在追查幕後走私集團。

這批象牙跟芝麻混在一起，裝載袋子裡，放進兩個貨櫃，送上一艘貨輪，從烏干達運到肯亞「蒙巴薩港」，肯亞保育人員清點出1642塊象牙，總重量高達5噸。

肯亞保育人員說，這批象牙準備運往土耳奇，中途卻在肯亞被查獲。
