原本定於29日在國父紀念館舉行的19次全國黨代表大會，因嗆馬聲不斷，國民黨基於「愛民勿擾民」決定取消，全國關廠工人連線表示，馬英九到那，人民的聲音就到那，請馬總統不要龜縮。

國民黨取消929全代會消息一出，全關連發表聲明指出，「國民黨今日宣布929全代會延期至1026，地點改至陽明山中山樓。929社運連線於記者會宣布，馬英九到那，人民的聲音就到那，請馬總統不要龜縮，出來面對人民的憤怒，大家1026見！」

民進黨中執委洪智坤則說，感覺很北七的新聞----記得以前國民黨的口號是：中國國民黨永遠與民眾在一起。「現在國民黨可能要改口號：民眾在哪裡？國民黨快逃離！啊你國民黨延期有什麼用？相堵會到。」

對於國民黨中央可能改在10月26日在陽明山中山樓舉行19次全代會。民進黨籍立委邱議瑩則是說，躲到山上去啦？前幾天追殺政敵的那股狠勁到哪去了？
