【鄭敏玲／台中報導】科博館「台灣人類學百年特展」上午開展，兩個月前才於台中市十三期重劃區出土、直徑達到84公分大陶罐，首度現身。考古學家屈慧麗表示這座大陶罐屬於距今1600年到1300年-番仔園文化，堪稱中部考古迄今出土最大的「鼎王」，製作技術高超，相當罕見。

考古學家屈慧麗表示，當時生存在台中盆地的人類就是利用這座大陶罐烹煮整隻鹿或野豬，陶罐的平均厚度不到2公分，製作技術高超，相當罕見。
