老人關懷站台東數量全國居冠

為擴大提供原住民老人全面關懷照顧服務，台東縣今年度再增設六站原住民部落老人日間關懷站，七月一號同步舉辦揭牌儀式。

台東縣現有十一處老人日間關懷站，這次增設的六個關懷站，分別設於關山鎮德高里、鹿野鄉瑞和村、延平鄉桃源村、東河鄉泰源村、大武鄉大武村、以及達仁鄉台板村，正式揭牌後，臺東縣也成為全國最多原住民老人日間關懷站的縣市，已佔全國九十九站數的百分之十七點一。

老人日間關懷站提供關懷訪視、電話問安、生活諮詢、照顧服務、轉介服務、餐飲服務，並辦理相關健康促進活動及心靈、文化與教育等促進老人身心靈健康的成長課程，提供原住民族老人預防性、關懷性及連續性的照顧服務。
