抵南非歐巴馬低調致敬曼德拉

（法新社普勒托利亞29日電）美國總統歐巴馬今天抵達南非，希望向他個人的英雄曼德拉（NelsonMandela）致敬，但不希望搶版面。

曼德拉過去幾天病情惡化，之後出現好轉跡象，使歐巴馬與曼德拉的會面出現一絲曙光。

空軍一號降落普勒托利亞（Pretoria）前，歐巴馬表示，對於是否探視曼德拉，他會完全尊重家屬的意願。

他說：「我不需要搶版面。我最不希望的事，就是造成困擾。」

他說：「我想單純向曼德拉的家人，深深感謝曼德拉多年來的領導風範。」

曼德拉過去因領導反種族隔離運動服刑多年，並在期間感染肺病。他這3週來又因肺病復發，住進加護病房。（譯者：中央社張詠晴）
