端午節「躦鯪鯉」是台中南屯地區百年傳統，今年擴大辦理，將於下周三上午在南屯萬和宮前廣場，號召千名民眾穿木屐踩街，體驗南屯地區特有的端午節慶「陸上龍舟(躦鯪鯉)」，為南屯地方經濟發展給力「躦」一下。
 
周二晚上在廣場安排廟口蚊子電影院放電影「志氣」，發放免費枝仔冰，邀大小朋友一起回味古早味。南屯區區長程泰源說要替鯪鯉申請註冊，要作為南屯區獨特的吉祥物。
