IBM砸重金買雲端運算公司

（中央社台北2013年6月4日電）根據「華爾街日報」（WSJ），有消息人士表示，國際商業機器公司收購未上市公司SoftLayer Technologies Inc.，計劃加強雲端運算能力。

這位消息人士表示，國際商業機器（International Business Machines Corp. US-IBM）以20億美元左右收購SoftLayer。

IBM在旗下的全球服務（Global Services）團隊中創造新雲端服務事業，不僅可以讓SoftLayer獨立作業，也可以整合這家公司其他的雲端運算服務。

2005年創立的SoftLayer，在美國、歐洲和亞洲有13個數據中心營運，服務約2.1萬名客戶。（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）
