美國皇家加勒比國際郵輪公司（Royal Caribbean International）旗下一艘郵輪在27日凌晨的航行途中起火，被迫停靠巴哈馬的自由港（Freeport），不過船上3000人都平安無事。

皇家加勒比國際郵輪公司發表聲明表示，「海洋富麗號」（Grandeur of the Sea）24日從美國巴爾的摩啟航，展開7夜的航程。不料，郵輪航向巴哈馬的可可島（CocoCay）時，船隻靠港部位起火。

火勢在兩小時內順利撲滅，郵輪也被導向停靠自由港，所幸郵輪上2224名乘客、796名船員，全都平安無事。

不過由於郵輪受損，使得接下來的行程遭到取消，乘客也獲得旅費賠償，以及未來免費搭乘郵輪一次。
